“Summer of Stories”!
In June and July 2020, Moquette Volante launched a YouTube storytelling series featuring Kristin Ward. Each episode includes a story, as well as a corresponding activity and interview designed to engage listeners in a multidimensional way. In 2021, the series returned for Season 2, better than ever with new stories, fascinating guests, and beautiful papercuts adorning each episode. While the project is currently taking a sort hiatus, plans are already under way for a third season in 2023!

CDs Available
“Chasing Tales” is a new original story by Kristin Ward, based on the old Irish tale “The Man Who Had No Story”. It is also a play on words, as life as an artist can often feel like running in circles. “Chasing Tales” and 4 other stories, old favorites and new, are featured on this CD, along with personal commentary about what the stories mean to the teller.
“Swan? – a Tale of Belonging” takes on the classic tale of the Ugly Duckling with a new twist. Drawing from her own life as an adoptee in a diverse world, Kristin Ward weaves a heartwarming tale of a “strange duck” and her quest for belonging. This CD also contains two bonus tracks of original stories.
The Store is currently under construction! Email kward@moquettevolante.org for details if you are interested in either a CD or a download.
